WELCOME TO THE WEBSITE OF THE
ASIAN DOMAIN NAME DISPUTE RESOLUTION CENTRE (ADNDRC)
(
HONG KONG OFFICE)

Operated and Managed by the
Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC)

The Asian Domain Name Dispute Resolution Centre (ADNDRC) is one of only four (4) providers in the world and the first and only one located in Asia, of dispute resolution services in regards to generic top level domain names (gTLD's), which are the top level domains approved by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN), which appointed the ADNDRC as a domain name dispute provider on 3 December, 2001.

The ADNDRC (Hong Kong Office) is operated and managed by the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC).

Disputes handled by the ADNDRC (Hong Kong Office) are governed by the Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP) and the Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy Rules (UDRP Rules) approved for implementation by ICANN on 26 August, 1999 and 24 October, 1999 as well as the ADNDRC Domain Name Dispute Supplemental Rules adopted by the ADNDRC with effect from 28 February, 2002.

Administrative proceeding is the method chosen by ICANN under the UDRP and the UDRP Rules for the purpose of resolving disputes in regards to .com, .net, .org and the other gTLD domain names. The Administrative proceeding process will essentially be based only on the documents provided by the parties with an in-person hearing occurring only in exceptional cases.

Domain name disputes administered by the Hong Kong Office of the ADNDRC can be filed and handled by e-mail, fax and/or post. The necessary forms needed to file a Complaint and to file a Response can be downloaded by clicking on "Download Forms".

However, a fully web-based on-line domain name dispute resolution system has been developed by the ADNDRC (Hong Kong Office) with technology powered and supported by Tradelink Electronic Commerce Ltd. of Hong Kong, which facilitates the handling of domain name dispute cases. A complete guide as to how this on-line system works can be found by clicking here. Parties are urged to use this system as it will greatly enhance the management of the domain name dispute resolution process. To go to the ADNDRC (Hong Kong Office) web-based on line domain name dispute resolution system click here, The System User Guide is available at the menu on the left of this page, at the Register/Login page of the system and in the "Download Forms" area, and you are urged to take advantage of this.

In order to be of further assistance there is Flow Chart of Proceedings showing the various stages of a ADNDRC (Hong Kong Office) domain name dispute resolution proceeding, as well as a series of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's) and answers thereto, which hopefully will be useful to you. We intend to provide additional FAQ's from time to time.

If you have any questions or comments, please do not hesitate to communicate with the ADNDRC (Hong Kong Office) Domain Name Case Administrator by e-mail, fax or phone at the e-mail address, fax and telephone numbers provided on this site.

The Hong Kong Office of the ADNDRC looks forward to being of service to you.
